Jeff
Gregson graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Sociology,
minor in Psychology and a Certificate in Criminology. He then later
graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2001 with a Masters degree
in Counseling. Jeff is currently a member of the American Psychological
Association, certified in the Teaching-Family model (parenting model
used by many youth programs) and trained in Neuro-Linguistic
Programming (method of therapy that promotes rapid change for many
issues). He has also been trained to teach and run Aggression
Replacement Training, a researched method for anger management.Jeff
has mainly worked with children, families and adolescents to help
resolve issues related to oppositional behaviors, ADHD, depression,
anxiety, eating disorders, sexual victims, perpetration and anger
control. Jeff's career began
10 years ago at Youth Village, working as a caseworker and later with
the Families First program, an intensive in-home preservation service.
While working as a Families First Specialist, he worked as an
out-patient child therapist at Weber Human Services, working with
traumatized children. Jeff
opened his private practice in the summer of 2004 and has enjoyed
working with adult and child clients alike. The focus of his practice
has been helping adults and adolescents with overcoming depression and
anxiety. His experience and training can help you and your family make the changes you desire.
